In 2007, State regulatory agencies determined that it is a “conflict of interest” for any provider to administer services and to rent housing accommodations to the same individual.  In light of these changes, Beckel Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed to focus on the housing needs of individuals with I/DD to comply with new regulations.

 

Beckel Inc. has been true to their commitment of providing facilities to non-profits who embrace similar believes and practices empowering independence of disabled adults. Currently, Beckel owns, manages, and preserves a number of properties throughout metro Atlanta totaling more than 260,000 square feet.

 

In 2018, Nurture Capital Partners was created to expand beyond residential housing to provide capital and real estate development solutions for purposes that contribute to the support and advances in the lives of I/DD adults.

 

Our team has worked on more than 50 projects with non-profits partners in healthcare, medical services, affordable housing, temporary housing, senior housing, education, as well as the commercial sectors involving private capital, governmental programs, foundation grants, non-profit funding, tax-exempted bonds, guarantees and more.
