Community Centers
Vocational and Transitional Facilities
Every community is made up of different cultures, mix of people of all ages, and of different social and economic groups. Centers for disabled adults provide a place where everyone regardless of who they are and where they live, can come to participate and join others to learn about subjects that may improve their life.
Community centers offer a host of training and activities which support the personal growth into independence. There are specific skills everyone must master in some form to truly be independent. Those skills are typically found in a transition training program. Centers also provide daily programs and services, as well as respite care services for overnight, extended stays or for specialized camps. Respite care is one of the fastest growing business seen in the market today.
